About Us
We are Luke and Neil, two Kent Police response officers who have not only policed the streets of Medway for the last 3 years but have also become great friends.
Both born in the Medway Towns we are now both within our 20’s and policing the area where we grew up. We have many community relations and enjoy active lifestyles, travel, music and many further interests.
As part of Kent Police’s car share scheme our paths initially crossed when we arranged to travel to work together, the result of which ended up with us both sharing a confined space together for the best part of 1 ½ hours a day! In between conversations about daily politics, current affairs and who did what to who on Eastenders the previous evening, Luke brought to light a TV series, The Long Way Round, where the actor Ewan McGreggor and Charlie Borman circumnavigated the world upon motorcycles.
After numerous discussions about what an awesome experience this must have been, Neil began researching on the internet and discovered an event...

"Our aim is to drive a 4x4 vehicle from London, England to Urlaan-Bataar, the capital city of Mongolia. Our journey will take us via Europe, Scandanavia, Russia, Khazakhstan, China then Mongolia. The route taking approximately 40 days to complete covering 15,000 miles through drastically changing environments, cultures and road conditions. Although this will be a life changing experience we will also raise funds for a number of chosen charities."
